Pros and cons of Weather Dial - A Simpler, More Beautiful Weather App app for iPhone and iPad

Weather Dial - A Simpler, More Beautiful Weather App app good for

The clean style I see makes me think about BROUN of the late 60s. Awesome!
Wow. I really dont want a weather app, as there is the notification centre, but this was too compelling. The icon is so stunning it even earned a place on my dock of only three apps, which meant I had to bump one off. Simple is always better, but in this case, it most certainly is.
Checking the weather forecast isnt boring anymore. I love the design. The functionality is on point to. One of my favorite iPhone apps so far. Looking really forward to see more apps like this. With the update in August this app gets 5*. Very well deserved.
The app is very well made. Its design is beautiful and its a completely new experience when looking at your weather forecast. The only issue that I have found was the accuracy of the forecast. It was sunny at midday, but the app showed stormy weather. Checking with Yahoos weather service, there was a 30% chance of storms in the evening. So the app told me that the chance of storm was already fact. I think this can easily be improved by the programmers. Still, I rate the app five stars. Very good work, guys!
...i would appreciate to switch the clock to European-Mode OR automaticly.
WTHR is an absolutely gorgeous app. It presents the essential weather details on one page. There is no flipping through for settings or details. WTHR simply displays the current temperature and conditions along with a forecast for the week. A quick glance is all you need. What WTHR wont do is provide detailed information such as humidity or UV index, percentage of precipitation an so forth. But thats not what its designed for and I hope that this is never jammed into the app. It would render it too cluttered. WTHRs strong suite is quick access to temperature and conditions coupled with a giant Celsius to Fahrenheit switch. This is a fantastic thing. I am in a position where I need to know both temperatures and, having grown up with Celsius, am terrible at figuring out the Fahrenheit equivalent. Too many apps bury the toggle for temperature scale deep in settings. Its a pain to switch between them. Not with WTHR. Its right there on the apps only screen. WTHR is my go to app because it gives me all the info I need quickly and solves my conversion problem elegantly. All that in a beautiful wrapper. WTHR has definitely earned a prominent place on my home screen. P.S. it would be lovely if WTHR would remember to display Celsius as my default temperature scale.

Some bad moments

This app is fine if you are American and get the Fahrenheit only temperatures. No way to alter settings for the rest of the world. Way to go USA!
Looks really nice, a reduced UI with the most important information about the current weather. Only the big Celsius / Fahrenheit switch is too present! Actually I never switch between these units, I just use ONE of them in my context! So please make this button disappear or smaller or move it or whatever... Edit: It is even worse, every time the app starts it switches back to Fahrenheit :-(
There seems to be no option to enter the location manually, the app is stuck in one screen with no text or information showing up. There shouldve been a warning about this..
I loaded the app to my iPad & it works but, Once I chose to use my current location, I cant change it. When I loaded the App to my iPod & iPhone, it will not work. It did not ask me if I wanted to use my current location so it cannot provide any information.
Doesnt seem to let you select your location, rather, it keeps location services on at all times. It also always converts back to Fahrenheit. Please fix, because other than those glitches, the app is amazing.
I just downloaded this today. It is reporting that it is Sunny and 30°C outside. In fact its cloudy and 23°C. How can it be that far off? Is it the locations services? I am in Canada, maybe it thinks Im in Sunny New York City today. Very disappointed.
