Weather apps are a strange bunch.
What I need is simply "the weather", not a "calendar" with a host of additional bloated "features". That takes up unnecessary space, especially when the smartest iOS calendars are clearly Fantastical, Agenda Calendar 4 and Calendars 5, by Readdle.
If theres time to "geek out" I go to forecast.io, via browser, for detailed animated maps and charts, etc.
Otherwise Weather Dial (powered by the reliable forecast.io API) brings a simple pairing of "flat" design and a delightful analog sensibility that doesnt get in the way. I get the info I need immediately. I move on with my day.
